Mobile Bike Servicing

Jon McGee offers mobile bike servicing. He will collect your bike from your home or workplace and return it when the service is complete.

The full service will include

Bike wash and degrease of drivechain (chain and sprockets). Chain and sprockets checked for excessive wear.
Gears, cables and derailleur’s checked for smooth and correct operation. Fine tuning made where necessary. Gear cables (inner and outer) changed if required.
Wheels and hubs checked for true and smooth running. Wheels trued and hubs adjusted where necessary.
Brakes checked to ensure correct movement. Alterations made to position of blocks and brake mechanism. Brake blocks and cables replaced where necessary.
Bottom bracket, headset and cranks checked for movement and adjusted where necessary.
All moving parts lubricated and bike test ridden.
Written report on all components provided with recommendations on any parts that need replacing.
Any parts that need replacing will be charged at cost – cables, brake blocks etc (usually no more than £10)
